Samples of previous years' events
July 3 – British Music Hall opens.
Watch for special guests during our Saturday and Sunday evening shows. Guests in the past have included Susie Frances; Chinese Magician Tony Eng; Opera singer Edd Wright and many others.
July 4th – Fri – The Cariboo Trail. Special showing and discussion of the classic 1950 movie with Randolph Scott, Gabby Hayes, Victor Jory and others. Although shot in Colorado the film is set in the early days of BC. It’s not Deadwood, but it’s a great look at an early film on the Cariboo myth.
July 19th and 20th - Doug Cameron brings his musical saw and antics to British Music Hall. Doug is a former alumni of the Fran Dowie shows and appeared on the stage of the Theatre back in the 1970s. Don't miss this.
September 4th – Our fall Show Gold Rush Nuggets begins. This is a collection of the best material from all our summer shows . It plays daily at 1 pm and Saturday night at 7 pm. No show on Mondays.
On the weekends in September we will be featuring members of our cast during our regular evening shows. Come and see feature presentations by Marcello, Amy and Jim.
September 27th – 7 p.m. Barber of Barkerville Encore – The Vancouver Opera returns with its comic version of The Barber of Seville – set in in goldrush Barkerville. This sold out last year so plan ahead.
