Premiere Performances of Danette Boucher’s “Bride of Barkerville” and Matt Quick’s "Just Another Cariboo Day”.
Light refreshments at the theatre will follow with a chance to meet Danette and Matt and their crew. (Matt’s show will fill our regular cast’s Thursday day off, allowing us to maintain our shows 7 days a week. Danette’s is a new half-hour show that will play at 11 pm, Wed to Sunday.)
Matt has been a Barkerville resident for seven years, initially as a street interpreter and for the last four years as Newman & Wright Company Manager. He is a talented comedian and actor. Danette has worked in Barkerville for many years as a street interpreter and this year returns to the stage of Theatre Royal. James Douglas directs the “Bride of Barkerville”. “Just Another” is directed by Peter Boychuk; Stage Management by Marcello Sequeira.

"The UnQuiet Grave" ~ our afternoon show premieres.
This year’s drama tells the story of the murder of Jessie Hamilton in Richfield, September 1864. Based on Judge Begbie’s transcript of the trial of John Baumgartner this Cariboo law & order episode explores the events around Jessie’s death and her burial in Cameronton. The show features returning stars Amy Lee Newman, with pianist/actor Robert Ahad, Ben Bilodeau, Alison Jenkins and Sayer Roberts. Directed by Peter Boychuk with Stage Management by Ted Harrison and Set Design by Dave Brotsky.

8 pm - “Gold Rush Review V” – our 2010 variety show.
Featuring Amy Lee Newman, pianist Robert Ahad, Ben Bilodeau, Alison Jenkins and Sayer Roberts in a variety of song, dance, and high entertainment.
9 pm – Receptions and entertainment in Barkerville at Theatre Royal, House Hotel and Mason & Daly.
